Morning all,
Well what a day yesterday as it was supposed to be the hottest day of he year, it started of nice and warm so went out not wearing a coat. On the way home and the heavens opened up and then the thunder and lightning started, I am not a lovely of it so was not a happy bunny, I stood waiting for a bus and tried not to show i was not happy as there were children there and did not want to pass my fear onto them,
I have been knitting a couple of cardigans for Angela's granddaughters and have just finishes on and thought I would share it with you. needs pressing out but will do that when the other one is finished.

That's a lovely view of your desk, marvellous to work at a window isn't it! You were very thoughtful to try to hide your discomfort at the bus stop, it was a real crasher of a storm here, I wouldn't have liked being out in it.
ReplyDeleteI totallu understand where you were coming from Lillian. I too used to be terrified of storms. I literally would not even move around the house, I'd be sat in a chair and there I stayed till it finished. I also tried very hard not to pass my fear onto my children, and funnily enough I eventually outgrew it, and now I'm quite happy to be out in one! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #9 xxx
ReplyDeletenot a great fan of thunder and lightening either, but good on you for not showing. Have a nice week, Vicky
ReplyDeletePretty card and lovely cardigan. I don't like storms. They can get very bad here in America too. I just end up sitting in the middle of the living room trying not to scream. Lol.

Same thing happened to my hubby! He went out on his bike and got caught up in a thunderstorm - I was a bit worried when he didn't get back but he was ok - he took shelter in a bus stop as well. Loving the cardi! Something like that would exceed my abilities, lol! Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #28
