Morning all

Where is this year going,  Another couple of days and it will be April.

Went out yesterday to the Bristol museum and there will be pictures in Fridays post. I had a lovely time and a great meal in Wetherspoons and had my own Gluten free menu.

Materials used;

• 13 x 13 cm Patterned card and envelope,
• 13 x 13 cm backing paper
• Owl and floral clear stamp
• Purple. Silver lining, & satin promarkers

Morning all.

Not a Normal day to post from me but with this weather the way it has been I have had a lot of time to craft. I love to make different things out of old boxes and it seem I get a sort of satisfaction out of seeing what I come up with. I started with a plain cardboard box and this is what I end up with.

Well true to form I am out today and it looks like I am going to get wet, yesterday was a good day and I did not have to go out, I am sure someone is watching me and waits till I go out and them think lets have some rain.. I am going to Bristol Museum.

Materials I used;

1. 17 x 10 cm cardboard box
2. Strips of pattered paper,
3. DecoArt Gesso Media,
4.  Adirondack  Sunset Orange,Raspberry, Sunset yellow,  ink,
5. Nuvo Acrylic Cherry & Olive green Paint,
6. Gold paint.
7. 6 pearl buttons

Easter Monday.

Morning all.

Hope you are all having a lovely Easter despite the weather. Weather was lovely Friday and then it was down hill from there, It gives me plenty of time to craft and that's what I have been doing. I have found some blank cards that I forgot I had put in the wardrobe. I have started to use them up, I know one thing, I sure will not have buy any card blanks for some time to come.

Materials I used;

• 12.5 x 12.5 cm deckle edged card blank and envelope,
• 11 x 11 cm gold card stock
• 10.5 x 10.5 white card stock,
• Stampin up rubber tree stamp,
• Bear clear stamp,
• Flower soft Glitter frosting,
• Versafine Onyx black ink.

Morning all

                                               HAPPY EASTER TO ALL

Well the weather has gone silly again and we are in the first week of spring. I don't get out much talking photos but Wednesday there was a robin in the garden and he seemed to not be afraid of me, I went quite close and got some lovely pictures of him. I went out again today and the robin was there again. It really is nice to see the robin there and I have put some food out for him.They are such lovely birds.

I have been making cards from sketches but this time I went for Tic-Tac-Toe. You have a grid and have to chose three things to put on your card. I went for green, stamp & flowers. Grip below,

I really should get out and start the garden but I keep finding things to do inside and mostly its some sort of crafting. I really have got into making the mini books and its lovely to be able to learn something new, This is the last mini book I made,

What a weekend,

Morning all.

I would like to say THANK YOU MATE, to my friend Kathyk, she told me about a new group on facebook and it’s called " The Bristol Community Friendship Club"  I noticed that most things that were happening were on the other side of Bristol and as I do not drive I did not see how I could join in with them, but there were lots of things I would have liked to do and said so. Do you know that two of the ladies have so kindly offered to pick me up and take me to some of the meets, so watch this space for pictures.

weekend again

Morning all

WOW where are these weeks going.

 Yesterday afternoon I went to knit and natter, it really is fun there are between 6 & 13 ladies there. Its really nice to get out when the weather is so nice. If its nice tomorrow I have to start on the garden. I have been wanting to get out there for a long time but there has always been something to stop me. I just hope that does not happen today, and I can get out into the garden. At the moment the weather does not look very nice out but as long as it stays dry I will get out in the garden.
