Morning all.
Had a nice break and I have not been near the table of craft for over a week. I have been to stay with my daughter and looked after her two dogs while she and her daughter went on holiday, They had a lovely time but are glad to be home,
I was walking to see my friend and went near the woods where we used to play as Children and was so surprised to see this holly tree still there it must be well over 60 years old and we used to have a den in there. It was like going back a good few years,
These are the dogs I was looking after, Top picture Toby, other picture Goldie, Only way I could tell them apart was the colour Toby is darker.

I hope the dogs enjoyed their walks with "granny". They look as if they're enjoying themselves sniffing around. Glad your daughter and granddaughter had a good holiday. Your card is really lovely Lilian. That's a lovely die. Barbxx

I'm sure the dogs loved walking with you. And you enjoyed looking after them. We have looked after three labs once and thoroughly enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteYour dreamcatcher card is beautiful! (that certainly is a gorgeous die).
Happy WOYWW,

Hi Lillian, I couldn't find you on the link thingy at LLJs. You gave your number as 35, but that didn't link through to you. Anyway I got you by clicking on your name and it gave me your blog.
ReplyDeleteLovely dogs.
Lovely card and a busy desk waiting for more projects.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Oh, how lovely to find that holly tree still there! I love the fact that it used to be your den when you were a young 'un. I used to hide out in a great big clump of tall bamboos with my friends - nobody knew we were in there, we used to stay in there all day!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ xxxx
Love the photos of the dogs, it's good to get away for a while. Nice to hear the holly tree is still there and hopefully it will be for years to come. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 26
ReplyDeleteNice card. I like the owls on your desk. So cute. It must have been nice to find the tree. I always try to find reminders, but sometimes they disappoint and end up being a lot smaller than I remember!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

Ooh I'd love to go back to the woods I played in as a child to see if our special tree is still there 30 years on. How lovely. Happy crafting, Max #31
ReplyDeleteLoving the desk and cards. Sometimes we just need to take a trip down memory lane just to recharge and remind us of how lucky we are to have great memories.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW!
