WOYWDW

Had a lovely day out again on Friday, Went to see the Concorde in the hanger in Filton, standing under Concorde you know just how big and impressive she is.  I have wanted to go to see it for a long time. It was on the day that Concorde flew home to Filton that my Late husband and I got married  It would have been 16 years this November the 26 Th.

Materials used for this card are,

  • 21 x 15 cm card blank and envelope, 
  • 20.5 x 14,5 cm patterned paper,
  • 15 x10 cm patterned paper. 
  • 20.5 x 4 cm white card stock,
  • Brick stencil,
  • Hobby craft black ink pad, 
  • Vintage sepia Visafine ink pad, 
  •  Autumn blessing sentiment, 
  • Time out clock stamp,

Got to the state  where I was crafting of a very small space so had to clear it up. On the left is my diamond paining and below if a picture of what it hopefully will look like

  10. OOh I didn't know you could go and see Concord! Fascinating. I remember my neighbour loved it, and had actually flown on it. She would go up to Heathrow to see it take off. Sadly she passed away many years ago. A lovely lady but such an unusual passion!! Great card too. Happy WOYWW Cindy #23

  16. Hi Lillian. What a lovely post! A truly nostalgic visit for you - Filton and Concorde. I only saw it once, flying over what was my childhood home. So graceful up there in the sky, and so distinctive. A lovely card, too, for the challenge - well done. That desk is just SO neat and tidy - I like to work that way - but hardly ever succeed!!

Last post for awhile.

This will be my last post for awhile. Life is getting in the way and some things have to give , This year has not been a good year so going ...
