I have wanted to go to see it for a long time. It was on the day that Concorde flew home to Filton that my Late husband and I got married It would have been 16 years this November the 26 Th.

Great pictures of Concorde Lilian. Funnily enough we visited Cosford at the weekend. No Concorde, but plenty of other interesting planes. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

ReplyDeleteOOh I didn't know you could go and see Concord! Fascinating. I remember my neighbour loved it, and had actually flown on it. She would go up to Heathrow to see it take off. Sadly she passed away many years ago. A lovely lady but such an unusual passion!! Great card too. Happy WOYWW Cindy #23
ReplyDeleteI always thought the Concorde was such a beautiful plane and it was a great shame when they grounded it but I bet it was very special looking round it. Thanks for sharing this visit with us. Wishing you a very happy woyww and a lovely creative week, Angela x17x

ReplyDeleteHi Lillian. What a lovely post! A truly nostalgic visit for you - Filton and Concorde. I only saw it once, flying over what was my childhood home. So graceful up there in the sky, and so distinctive. A lovely card, too, for the challenge - well done. That desk is just SO neat and tidy - I like to work that way - but hardly ever succeed!!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
