Latest knitting

I Made a blanket like this and when my sister spotted it on the back on my settee she said that she would love one. We went to Thornbury [ she was visiting me from Devon] and she chose the colours so they would go with her room at home. I finished the blanket this morning as May[ my twin sister] will be up again this weekend so thats great timing and she can take the blanket home with her.

Another ATC

Made this first one with distress inks.colours,Dusty Concord, Festive berries, Tea Dye. Made the background and then sprayed with water. Stamped with image and sprayed with spray and shine,

I have not made ATC's but thought I would give them try as Kathy has set a swop and thought why not try it, This is the ATC's I have made at the moment. Not really sure about all of them but like a couple.

A couple of pictures

I have not been online for a long time but i have now I am back and have some pictures to share with you. The first one is myself and my twin sister May, Yes there is two of me lol. The second is myself my daughter Kerry and my granddaughter Stephanie

I am still trying to use up all the hunkydory sets that I have in my stash, so this is two more from their sewing set, I quite like these cards. I love the stamping better as you really have to think about the card you are making.

 

Goddaughters card

This post really makes me feel old lol. My goddaughter is 21 tomorrow and as I said it really makes one feel old. Right from a baby Sarah[ god-daughter ] has always called me her fairy god-mother so I though i really should make her a card with a fairy on.
 Materials used.
 6 x 6 deckle
 card Fairy stamp set.
 Memento ink.

 

New stash

Just a post to welcome my new follower Catherine. I hope you visited again soon. Well been very naughty. I was watching Barbara gray an Create and craft and I seem to have ordered a lot of new stash lol. I have yet to try and of it out as have been a tad busy. As they say though watch this space, There are lady stencils. Stamps and brushes,
