Weekend

Went to Thornbury  Tuesday evening as was told the Christmas light were going to be turned on and thought it might be a good place to have a walk and see all the people having a great time as there was also a fair along the high street and I have never seen so many people in Thornbury it was lovely and well worth going.  


                                This ride was called oxygen and the height they went they would need it Lol

    Weekend

                                               

    Had this planned for Friday BUT again life got in the way lol.  Got up this morning and thought I will do this today later than hoped but had to wait for the light to take a picture of the card. 

     Found out a few weeks ago that one of my granddaughter [ I have 5 ] is pregnant and is having a little boy, We are all pleased as its the first boy I had three girls ( lost one)  and the two girls had 5 girls between them, so its the first boy  hurried to finish the charity knitting and start for them, These are the first three lol

    Today is Armistice Day and a day to thank all the service Men, Woman,and the your people who lied about their age  to go and fight and not forgetting all the Animals that served in all the forces, Many never came home and lots came home never to be  the same, Also all the people who kept this country alive during the war,                                                                THANK YOU ALL 


    Well Autumn really has set in now, and its really chilly but the last couple of days it has been dry here, Not sure how long it will last, feel for all those who have all the flood and hope they are all safe,

    Had a lovely day out again on Friday, Went to see the Concorde in the hanger in Filton, standing under Concorde you know just how big and impressive she is.  I have wanted to go to see it for a long time. It was on the day that Concorde flew home to Filton that my Late husband and I got married  It would have been 16 years this November the 26 Th.

    These weeks are going to fast for me, Went out on Sunday for a coach trip to the Cotswold's and the weather was kind, Would have loved to have a bit more sun to show of the lovely Autumn colours. so there are going to be a few picture here this morning. We visited  Stow -in- the wold & Bourton-on the Water.

    Really having Autumnal weather  and the leaves sure are going some lovely colours,.

    Been knitting again  [ not that I ever stop lol ] and have finished 9 baby cardigans and three little hats.
