Your thank you card is great! I rarely use my loose glitter (I too have loads!) any more. Helen #6
ReplyDeleteI think you will have read on my blog that I am not a glitter girl (well, not a girl any more either lol).
ReplyDeleteYour last picture raised a titter, I was just about to comment on the lovely buttons and ask what they were going to be used for when I realised the circles were cut out from card and it was the tablecloth I was seeing. Doh!
Hugs, Neet 1 xx-
I'm glad you had such a good time away, hope you haven't got post holiday blues! Glitter is a love/hate thing, don't you think? Looks pretty but can be a so and so to deal with.

You have exactly what you needed on your desk today. Love the card! Dorlene #29
ReplyDeleteI must say I agree with Neet - those do look like lovely big buttons lol! Like the others, I have got several pots of glitter but haven't used them for years. I'm not really a glitter person but I couldn't resist buying them at a craft show from the Glitter man who was all dressed up like a pirate and had his stand done up like a pirate's cave, with barrels just full of the stuff! It was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and for you good wishes re my headaches - I shan't hear from the surgery till next week but I hope they give me something that helps! I'm glad you like my watercolour doodles.
Happy WOYWW,

Nice to know you had a lovely holiday. I can't think of a better reason for missing WOYWW. We both have glitter on our desk today. I'm not keen, it's the mess - it seems to get everywhere - but the little girls in the family just love all things glittery. Elizabeth x #24
ReplyDeleteNow I have lots of loose glitter that needs to be used and I have an idea but just don't like the way it escapes everywhere. Glad you had a good holiday. Wishing you a lovely creative week and a very happy woyww, Angela x13x
ReplyDeleteHi Lillian, I can't touch glitter, as I get it everywhere:) LOL
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

What a lovely thank you card - I like the clean, uncluttered look - very stylish. Hope you have a great week,

What a great interpretation of the sketch Lilian. Happy WOWYW. Sarah #2
ReplyDeleteGlitter is a bit of a disaster and controversial crafting element in our house! My son loves it and my husband hates it. Love your simple and elegant card. Have a great week. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#14)
ReplyDeleteHi Lilian, glad you had a lovely holiday. Nice simple card, you followed the sketch well. I do have glitter, don't use it as much as I could do as it goes everywhere. I'm a messy crafter and always tidy away after, well nearly always. Glitter being everywhere would just annoy me. Have a lovely week Heather xx #11
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Lilian, fab card for the sketch. Like everyone else I have a ton of loose glitter. I used to use it a lot in my previous job but hardly touch the stuff now. I'm somewhat glad my days of finding glitter everywhere have gone.
