Not feeling any fresher here this morning, sadly. WOW! What a fabulous storm last night? I thought of you and can see (from your comments) that you got it too - hope you managed at least some sleep.
ReplyDeleteSuper makes and I see you were happy with your bear make - I'm glad it grew on you
Happy WOYWW

It feels a little fresher here too this morning Lilian. I slept through the storm though. Love the cards. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #10
ReplyDeleteEarly morning is lovely and fresh but it won’t last long. My word is what a fab show of a storm too. Am about to go out and put some plants in while the going is good and before they get pot waterlogged! Glad to see you’re doing seasonal card making, it helps me!
ReplyDeleteLove the bears card, so cute! It's a bit fresher here in Wales too but still very warm!

We too are enjoying cooler temps for a bit! We can breathe for a few days. Longing for Fall for sure. I loved your bears card.

Hi Lilian, yes, that was some storm last night, but still very warm and muggy here too. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X
ReplyDeleteWell, I slept through the storm. Am glad about that as I do not like lightening. Sounds as if you are a bit the same if you were hiding under the bedclothes.
ReplyDeleteLooks as if you are going to be busy with cards shortly.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Sounds like the storm cooled a number of places and good to see you can still do some craft in the heat.

Loved the storm last night! Did worry about the baby hens but ..... I wasn't going out in the rain!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the background on the bear card, different.

Hi Lilian, I slept right through the thunderstorm. There isn't much that disturbs my sleep! Love the cute bear card. Have a lovely week Heather xx #9
ReplyDelete2 lovely cards, love them both, thanks for sharing at Crafty Catz blog and hope to see you again

Hi Lillian, We had thunderstorms last night and more forecast for tonight. Temps hit 36 here today and more of the same tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove the cards.

We had thunderstorms last night but instead of freshening everything up it made it all more humid. The bear card is great fun and really cute. Have a wonderful week. Love & God Bless, Caro x (#17)
ReplyDeleteit was anything but fresher here (we missed the storm) I got home to a massively hot flat (even though I'd shut the windows and curtains) hey ho, we'll be moaning about winter soon enough.... Love the desk. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteOh Lilian! my teachers hat on here lovely. The reason we have a thunderstorm after a hot day is because, in simple terms, warm moist air rising meets the cold air particles which bump around each other producing an electric charge which causes Thunder and Lightening when it moves to the ground. Now I am not a scientist but that's close enough. Right taking the teachers hat off Lol! Wishing you a lovely creative week, Angela x13x
ReplyDeleteI was hoping the very heavy storms last night would clear the air but like many have said it did not. Looking to be even hotter tomorrow :/ Hope it does not effect your creative time, Happy WoywW Tracey #8
ReplyDeleteYour craft desk looks immaculate compared to what mine looks like right now! Can't even find a 6x6 open space!! Your card is so interesting with a the varied textures and designs. Thanks for sharing it with us at PIP Challenges!
ReplyDeleteHope you’re managing to keep cool and craft. I’m blumming sweltering here. I’m ignoring your Christmas card haha and adoring your pooh bear one.

Still pretty humid here today, but at least is a bit cooler. Super CAS Christmas card, love the addition of the cute little robin. Great stencilling on your second card too. Thank you for joining in the Crafty Calendar Challenge this month. Good luck!

That colorful patchwork style background that you created for the second card is so cool. Happy belated WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteJust perfect for the Challenge! Great project! Fabulous that you have shared this with us here at Colour Crazy. Good luck and we hope you will come back again! Jackie DT Member xxx
ReplyDeleteSuper card Lilian - in fact I love both! And of course the snippets card is lovely. I have a friend who practically hides headfirst under her duvet in thunder storms! I can cope but only just! Dudley is fine - and with fireworks as well, weird as other things make him run and hide behind my legs!
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late commenting - blame Dudley Dog :)

Love the use of the stencil in that second card!
ReplyDeleteLove the cards. I hate thunder too. It's very hot agagin here today so I'm sat sewing in front of my big floor fan.

ReplyDeleteLovely desk with the sun shining on it! I love mornings after thunderstorms, so fresh smelling and wonderful! We are expecting thunderstorms tonight, so maybe tomorrow will be one of those days! I love the bear card, everything is psychedelic around them - look at that! Look at that! Fun! Have a great week, Lindart #18
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know Lilian, getting the rain out of the way at night seems eminently sensible!! Thunderstorms can be a bit disturbing though I agree. I love your bear! Such a sweet card. Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #5
