  2. Love Stratford on Avon used to go there in my school days as I was at boarding school in Wolverhampton and a treat was going to the theatre there. Remember going to my first play and I was mesmerized. Love the owls I always wonder how they feel when I see them at fairs etc.

  3. Happy WOYWW. We used to live within reasonable driving distance of Stratford (just outside Chipping Norton) and visited regularly, and when I lived in the Midlands I used to go to a fantastic shoe shop in the town that specialised in Italian shoes/boots. Still have a pair of long boots that I bought (probably in 2001) - such soft leather. Haven't been to any Christmas markets this year, although there have been many. I am helping at a Christmas fair on Saturday, but a small event in a village hall. I love owls too, and my mum has an owl number plate on her car! Ali x #15

  4. I'm not that far from Stratford but have not been for years!
Not been to any Christmas Markets, a couple of simple craft fairs. DH and I had thought if visiting the German Market in B.ham but someone said it wasn't very good. That and rain put us off. Anne X 17

  5. WOW! What a lot of content in your post today, Lilian. The market looks great, despite being busy - I hope you enjoyed your day. Those owls were just adorable. It's over 25 years since I've been to Stratford on Avon, but I recall it's quite pretty.

Fab desk too, hope you are winning with those Christmas cards - quick before it's too late!

Lovely make today and wishing you luck with your chosen challenges

    Happy WOYWW

  8. Hi Lillian, I've visited Stratford when I use to live that way, but never went to the market.

The owls are lovely. Not sure if it is still there, but there was a bird of prey place in Morton-on-Marsh.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    Happy WOYWW
