ReplyDeleteHi Lilian, I often have a late night, sometimes my head is clearer at 3 in the morning and I cant see the point of just laying in bed. Love thye ship image, makes a lovely focal point o your card. Happy 600th WOYWW, have a lovely week, stay well, stay safe, Cindy xx #30
ReplyDeleteHi Lillian. Oh, what a nuisance - a really rough night! A snooze in front of the tv later perhaps??
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Oh my Lilian , that’s not a lot of sleep gal, how horrid for you. Gracious, probably win the prize for earliest blogger of the day!! What a nice card, you I must have been soooo careful when colouring the wooden part of the ship - those sails are laundry white and clean!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read you had a bad night, but I have to admit, I love that birthday card. LOVE the sails. Enjoyed seeing your desk, too. Happy 600th from #6.
ReplyDeleteHi Lilian, happy Big 6-0-0!! Beautiful card, I can see the sun sparkling on that sea! I know how it feels to be awake when it feels like all the world is sleeping, for me it's more like not going to bed until 3.30 so I'm the other way around. A nice little sofa snooze in the afternoon always helps :) Cheerio for now xOx Annie C #35
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab card, I love that ship. Happy 600th anniversary!

Lilian, can't tell you how many times I have been up at 3:30 and tried to go back to sleep, but my mind got the better of me and I just got up and crafted! Oddly enough, I never seem tired after that? Not sure what that's all about? LOL I do crash that night though! LOLOL Love your card! Happy Wednesday and rest of your week! Felicia #39
ReplyDeleteYour card is adorable! That is definitely going to help brighten someone's special day! I do my best crafting between midnight and 3 am. It seems there is less crazy energy in the world during those hours!

ReplyDeleteHi Lillian, lovely card. Hope you've got over your early morning. I'm wondering if you were on your computer before you went to bed. I always try to give myself at least an hour off the computer before bed as I always find it difficult to get off to sleep otherwise. Wishing you a very happy woyww and a lovely creative week. Angela x19x
ReplyDeleteHi Lilian, sorry you didn't get a good night's sleep. I have occasional nights like that, but thankfully not too often. Love the ship on your card - I like nautical stuff for male birthday cards - mainly because I lack inspiration and imagination. Ah well, there are worse things in life! Happy 600th WOYWW and have a lovely week, Heather xx #25
ReplyDeleteHappy 600th WoywW Lillian at least you have been productive during your sleepless night. Hope you get some quality sleep really soon, lovely card btw. Happy WoywW Tracey #8

ReplyDeleteHi Lilian, a superb Birthday card to celebrate a milestone birthday. The tall ship looks fabulous on the patterned paper, you did a marvellous job colouring just the hull of the ship too. Thank you for joining us at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, good luck in the prize draw... Megan DT LPoCF

Happy 600th WOYWW . I have trouble sleeping sometimes, I usually make a cup of tea and read or go on the IPad. I have done my blog before at that time too. Angela #42
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful card! Sometimes it best to get up and do something, I usually give myself half an hour and then go through my bedtime routine again and sleep better then! Thank goodness - it doesn't happen often! Chris 44

Wonderful card Lilian and so great to see you in the Snippetss Playground! Love the sailing ship - wonderful! I feel for you about the not being able to sleep - I had a night like that recently and just lay and read my Kindle (the book was good else I'd have been up on the computer). And then, as dawn was breaking - all I wanted to do was sleep! Sigh.
