ReplyDeleteWoohoo for getting the glitter out already, I’m impressed! Hope you’ve been having fun making the cards but also meeting up with old friends, you seemed to have settled in so well into your new place.

Time does fly! Fab card and tidy desk . Helen #1
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your lovely crafting for CHNC challenge 558 - I hope to see you again soon. x
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas card Lilian. Nice tidy desk too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #6
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute card, Lilian. I am glad you have been able to catch up with old friends. It's really scary, isn't it, realising that you've been friends with someone for 50 years! I've known my 2 best friends from school for 57 years! Where does the time go?
ReplyDeleteI never mind if people visit me any day of the week after "The" day of WOYWW - all comments are welcome, whatever the day!
Happy WOYWW,

Love your Christmas card. I'm banned from using glitter - Tim hates finding it all round the house. Take care and stay safe, With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#13)
ReplyDeleteHi Lilian, time just disappears at the moment so not surprised you were wrong about how long you've been friends. Love the Christmas card too. Wishing you a happy woyww evening, Angela x19x
ReplyDeleteLilian, Christmas cards - oh no, you make me panic! Made me smile that you discover you’ve known your friends for so much longer…but take heart, lots of us are in the misjudging of time department, it’s a thing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your return visit, Lilian, and yes, it's been an extremely busy week, and likely to continue too. I'm tryiing to get ahead of myself in advance of my radiotherapy which starts tomorrow as I've been warned it will leave me very fatigued. I get frustrated that studio time always ends up at the bottom of the heap. Today I was super-disciplined and actually made a (late) start on the accounts - always a bad sign when my hubby starts droppping hints about not having had his money yet! He's very patient with me though!
ReplyDeleteIt's a funny thing about stamps and other craft supplies, isn't it. However much we've got (and most of us do have a lot!), we always seem to want more, and the Internet is so tempting once you start looking... I really should be more disciplined in "using what I've got."

ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

Christmas cards already! I haven't thought about those yet, good for you! Have a great week, Lindart #29
ReplyDeleteI love Kraft card, especially white stamping on it, especially at Christmas. Which brings me to your card, so sweet, and I love ovals.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Hugs, Neet 17 xx (sorry I am so late getting around)
I know a lot of people start early with making X-mas cards but I still find it funny to see snow and glitter while the sun is shining and temperatures are high outside... I start making X-mas cards in December, ha! Enjoy your weekend lovely one. Hug from Holland, Marit #2
ReplyDeleteI had a video chat with an old friend yesterday - after
ReplyDeleteyears without meeting each other - and it was supposed
to be a short conversation. It ended up being a 3 hour
long call.
:) Maybe we will appreciate each other more after this
horrible pandemic.
Stay safe!

Thank you for coming back to my blog and wishing me well for my treatment, Lilian - much appreciated. I have had the first two and so far so good - no ill effects yet! I'm having a break over the weekend, and then the final 3 Monday to Wednesday. It's not the most comfortable position to be in for 20 minutes but it's OK really.
