  3. Cracking Christmas card, such a pretty and twinkly scene. Your desk looks great (would love a rummage) and a great idea to re-paint your angel too

  6. Oh my word Lilian am so sorry that you aren’t sleeping well. Do you power through and hope for a better night tonight or will you have to give in and nap later? I’m absolutely useless without a lot of sleep, noticeably so since the old brain surgery but I don’t have any trouble sleeping at all. In fact, my DH thinks it’s my super power. How annoying for you. I love the little figure, all innocence and care-less, can totally see why she needs to be indoors gazing out now!

  7. Try a hot milky drink before bed, it could work.
Like your little girl you painted.

  8. Hi Lillian, so rotten when you can't sleep. Used to have this trouble myself, one week one of the Bloggers posted about a pillow spray( Lavender) called This Works. And it really does, well worth trying out, has made a world of difference to my sleeping. Great job with the Christmas card, love it. Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #10 X

  9. Hi Lillian. Trust you sleep better tonight. Bad nights are just no fun at all - and I usually find I then fall asleep during a tv programme, and wake up during the next one!!! I love that little Christmas card - gorgeous.
    Take care. God bless.

  10. A lovely snowy frosty scene on your card, Lilian. I am sure you will paint the ornament beautifully. Thank you for visiting - there was a time when I could have done the tiny carpets without glasses or anything but sadly, no longer! In addition to glasses, I use a head magnifier and it works a treat. I'm very happy with the result of this project and am now keen to move on - my crochet hooks are calling me! I am really looking forward to starting on the Persian Tiles throw but must concentrate on my hubby's cat one first.

    Happy WOYWW,

  11. PS Meant to say - so sorry to hear you are having sleep problems. I know what that is like - my internal clock is really haywire with my ME and I usually only get 4-5 hours a night. I'm always wide awake at 3 or 4 a.m. and have to force myself to get to bed!!
